Our Goals are to discover, develop, mentor, and support the Next Generation of Catholic Evangelists and to offer their services to those doing the woprk of Catholic Youth Ministry.

ACTS Evangelism & Worship (ACTS E & W Inc.)

ACTS Evangelism & Worship is a Catholic youth ministry dedicated to finding and identifying, mentoring and resourcing, young people with an ability and desire to become the future evangelizers of the Young Catholic Church, and connecting them with youth serving organizations as a resource for gathered events, retreats etc.

ACTS takes its name from the Book of ACTS and stands for Artistic, Creative, Technological, Spirit-led Evangelism & Worship. Speaking in a language which is relevant to Catholic Teens and with a particular focus on music, art, technology and social media, ACTS E&W is presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ
and the teachings of the Universal Catholic Church to young people.

Founded in 1999 as a non-profit organization, ACTS is a Collaborating Member of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, has served over one third of US dioceses, hundreds of parishes and schools, and been active in the planning of national events such as NCYC (the National Catholic Youth Conference).

In its first year, ACTS served at churches, schools, prisons, hospitals, and conferences across the US and Europe providing multimedia youth programs, worship events, retreats and concerts. In its first fifteen years of ministry, ACTS served at over 500 events in over 21 countries, 35 states, and over 195 cities, including presenting programs at the Rome and Toronto World Youth Days, plus each of the the National Catholic Youth Conferences since 2007.

In 2013, ACTS took an exciting new direction, making the young presenters from NCYC's top Talent our primary evangelizers. We have mentored and trained them in the necessary techniques for evangelizing their peers, particularly using social media, with great responses on YouTube, GodTube, and other sites, attracting more than 100,000 hits.

In 2014, ACTS organized the NCYC’s top Talent Tour with over 20 stops across 12 states, giving teens the opportunity to share their faith and talents with their peers and encourage Catholic families as positive role models for their young children. Plans are currently underway for still more evangelistic outreach in 2015 and beyond.
